The Rich View for Wed. August 13th

"The LORD will keep you from all harm-he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Psalm121:7

Living As an Offering

"A vision of the possibilities..should never overshadow the clear biblical principle that when we are weak then we really are strong because God's power is allowed full expression in our weakness"-David Bryant.

Prayer from Pete Briscoe's Experiencing Life Today Devotional. August 13th.
"Dear God, I don't want to function in my own strength. I lay myself in Your hands to be used as an instrument of righteousness. I give You  my mid, that I might think Your thoughts. I give You my heart that I might love as You love. I give You my hands, that I might serve as You serve. I give You my lips and my tongue, that my words might give grace to all who hear. I offer it all to You, Lord! Do with me what You wish! Amen."

Volunteering and Your Charity Giving.

Is there a connection between your charity giving and your volunteering?
Or between your volunteering and your charity giving?
Is there a difference?

If we are moved, motivated  and or interested in giving to a large charity operating either in the U.S. or someplace around the world, might we also be interested in giving of our time and talent to them?
How can we do that?

Check out their website. Do they have a local chapter or office. If you can't determine that from the website, why not give them a call? Nothing to lose! I have more about this on my original post.
