JOY in God’s Word
He prays to
God and finds favor with him, he sees God's face and shouts for joy; he is
restored by God to his righteous state.
while the
morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy
You have
filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound.
He will be
a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth,
I have
told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
You have
made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your
presence.'
May the God
of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may
overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Not that
we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by
faith you stand firm.
