God is on a massive Rescue Mission and we are invited to join Him!

You  can drop in at any of the Milwaukee locations for a free class.
6 classes left. See link below.

Perspectives is a fifteen week course designed around four vantage points or "perspectives" — Biblical, Historical, Cultural and Strategic. Each one highlights different aspects of God's global purpose.
The Biblical and Historical sections reveal why our confidence is based on the historic fact of God's relentless work from the dawn of history until this day.

The Cultural and Strategic sections underscore that we are in the midst of a costly, but very "do-able" task, confirming the Biblical and Historical hope.
A few short videos about Perspectives

Why Should I Attend?

God has a "world-sized" role for every Christian in His global purpose.Whether people go to distant countries or stay at home is a secondary issue. The primary issue is what most people are hungry to discover: vision to live a life of purpose. Discovering that vision makes this course valuable, and perhaps crucial, for any Christian.

Next step would be to see the closest location to where you live

If outside the U.S, there are locations around the world

There are even ONLINE courses that you can take at your convenience

Even Independent Study

The Heart of God

A few quotes from John Willis Zumwalt's book: Passion For The Heart of God:Making : His Heart Completely Yours.

John was the speaker at Perspectives On the World Christian Movement class at Eastbrook Church in Milwaukee Wisconsin on Monday, January 21st.

John did NOT bring any of his books with him! Bummer! But you can google it and find reviews of his book. A Great read!

John is speaking at Kettlebrook on Tuesday night!
Date: Tuesday, January 15, 2019
Time: 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Still an opportunity to hear him! You won't be disappointed!

See link at bottom of post

Here are a few quotes from John's book.

"God is so pleased when He finds His heart beating in another." -Steven C. Hawthorne

"I am convinced that every person can be given the compassionate heart of God. the heart of God is for the people of the world." -Bobbye Byerly

Lesson 1:  The Living God is a Missionary God.

A few thought provoking statements of John in the class. All paraphrased by me as I heard John and understood it.

Bible studies are good...making good Christians better Christians.

We are the visible representation of an invisible God to people in the world.

We are to be "light" in the darkness. Light shines better and more visible in the darkness.

As we move into dark areas of the world...we mature in our faith.
Where did Jesus go? With sinners...
So, find your darkness (your area of ministry) in the world and charge in!

If you for some reason...can't physically go...you can pray.

How to be involved right now...without physically going!

Once a Year Opportunity to Attend Perspectives On the World Christian Movement!

"The trail is long, and we won't arrive at our destination in this life. Still, we're on the journey with Jesus for the greatest thrill of our lives." Zig Ziglar

Hey, we're  not all college seniors...some of us are Boomers and Boomers and Beyond!
Never too late!

So pick your destination right now!
How can I do that?

As Paul Borthwick says in his book: How to Be a World-Class Christian: Becoming Part of God's Global Kingdom:  "Through prayer, we can join any team that God is using. We can join in the efforts of missionaries in the Amazon River valley, in the ministries of pastors in Sri Lanka, or in the evangelistic effort of "tentmakers' in North Africa!"  P. 73

Once a year we  have this unique opportunity to get a new overview of  The World Christian Movement!.

This phrase may be new to you.

Course covers the Historical, Biblical, Cultural and Strategic insights of what Christianity is, should be and how you can experience a new joy, hope, peace, and fulfillment in your walk with the LORD...a new vibrant relationship with Him!  To join His team...both now and for all eternity!

You are on a journey! Maybe you have experienced a detour or two along the way.
Join us and hear from speakers from around the world...Connect with new friends on this journey! As Randy Alcorn says,.."Live for the line, not the dot as we journey through life.
The DOT...The World & it's system.
The LINE...Eternity!

We will learn and experience new insights and connect with new people around the world,  and even pray for specific workers in the field...being a part of their "team"..
And just maybe...when the LORD returns and creates a new earth...the LORD may take us to that region  and we will  meet the people we were praying for...and the others who were on our "team" and then see how we did make a difference in the world and for all eternity!
Happy journey!

"The trail is long, and we won't arrive at our destination in this life. Still, we're on the journey with Jesus for the greatest thrill of our lives." Zig Ziglar

We can't all  physically go on the world mission field...but we can pray right where we are!

As we finish our journey and one day stand before the LORD,  we will hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."  Matthew 25:21

Isn't that what we want to hear? I do

Join us this Monday January 14 at Eastbrook Church for the first session.
1st 2 sessions are FREE.  If Monday is NOT a good day of the week, also at other churches in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area on different nights.
You can attend at any location...miss one night, join us at another location that week. No problem.

Never to late to start or renew your journey with the LORD!
