Praise Reports:
.  After visiting with doctors in Canada, Oaxaca missionary Elaine Croft found out that what was thought to be a serious ear infection was actually not infected. We are grateful for answered prayers and quick attention from doctors - which we are told is a miracle in itself in Canada.

Elaine with her husband Ian
.  We recently received this report about Sergio, one of the missionaries at the Baja Mission who spent the summer in Wisconsin getting new prostheses:

Just thought you all would like to know, we heard from Dirk at the orphanage tonight.  He says he hasn't seen Sergio in the wheelchair since he got back. On his new legs, he assisted in digging the grave for a missionary who died at the orphanage, and he's on the rescue squad and the fire department the Mission operates for the whole area.  He's, also, driven a stick shift truck to deliver wheelchairs to those in need. It appears now because of all you have done and all of your prayers, that Sergio is living the life he always wanted to live. He's "one of the boys" and smiling all the time.

.  Keith Euhus, a long time supporter of the ministry, sent us this message:

Today my oncologist reviewed my recent CT scan, found no obvious remaining lymphoma, and declared me in remission! That doesn't mean I'm cured, since it typically returns/continues about 6 years from first treatment. But for now, I'm in remission!  God has been gracious! Thank you for your prayers these past two years.

Prayer Requests:
. Eric Benning, the son of Baja missionaries Hans and Nancy Benning, was in a very serious motorcycle accident that left him with a fractured leg and arm. Please pray for minimal pain and a quick healing.

Eric and Hans Benning
. Please join us in praying for more teachers to serve in the Disabled Children's Learning Center at the Baja Mission. Three of their teachers are leaving by the end of the year and they have an urgent need for more people with a heart for children with disabilities to go and serve in this place.

 Praise Reports:
.   Janelle writes:

I had such a good trip to the Oaxaca Mission. The staff had a real sense of unity, things are working well at the school and the grounds looked beautiful. Everyone there is doing a great job and really working towards the goal of loving those around them. I'm thankful for the leadership of Jill Adams, Eunice Lopez, Aaron Serrano and everyone serving alongside them.

. Please pray for Elaine Croft, missionary at the Oaxaca Mission. A few years ago she received a cochelear implant and there are now serious complications. She needs a complete healing.

Elaine and her husband Ian
. Bill Barnes recently suffered from a stroke. Bill's wife Eva volunteered as a secretary in the San Clemente office, they both have been faithful volunteers for the mailing of the newsletter and were generous donors towards the construction of the Oaxaca Mission. Bill is 97.

Foundation For His Ministry Weekly Praise and Prayer Report 10/10/2014

Foundation for His Ministry Weekly Praise & Prayer Newsletter

Mission Statement

Foundation for His Ministry is a mission whose purpose is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ. To this end we share and demonstrate God’s love through the power of the Holy Spirit by meeting basic spiritual, physical and educational needs of those in Mexico and beyond. This will be done in such a way as to establish the Mission as a model of effective ministry for other parts of the world.

We so appreciate your prayers and concern for Foundation For His Ministry. We know that without you, none of this would be possible.

Praise Reports:
.  It rained in the Baja! After praying for a long time it rained all night on Wednesday and there were actually puddles on the ground in the morning.

                                   Baja Mission
.  The teachers and principal of the Oasis School in Oaxaca were able to attend MexEd, a conference on Christian education. We are thankful for these opportunities to learn more and network with other educators in Mexico.

Prayer Requests:
. Charla writes:

We so appreciate everyone's love and concern for Craig, Chuck and me. His caregiver and hospice are doing an excellent job. Several weeks ago it seemed like death was very near. However, he's eating again and his heart is strong. His body is ravaged by that hideous disease of cancer. Apparently God's ministry to and through Craig is not finished. Either Chuck or I see him almost daily. I give the caregiver a break at least once a week. It's very difficult for him to have visitors as he's in constant pain and it becomes very draining. Praise God we have the full assurance that Craig will be welcomed by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when the journey ends.

Craig
. Janelle Keller, Assistant Executive Director of FFHM, is currently at the Oaxaca Mission. Please pray she can be an encouragement to the staff there.

Janelle
. Jorge Gamboa, at the TJ House for university students has submitted a grant to the government in Tijuana requesting a new sofa and new dining room tables. Please pray they give us favor and the needed funds.

current furniture
. Please pray for Keith, Maya and their two children. They have had a very difficult time leaving their work in Bucerias and may come and spend time at the Baja Mission. Keith was launched into missions by his service at the Baja Mission many years ago. Maya was a school teacher in Vicente Guerrero. Please pray this is a time of restoration for them.

Keith and Maya
. Keith's mother, Pat Durkin, was part of the original prayer group and has served our ministry in countless ways. Pat is having acute medical problems and needs a healing touch.

Pat
. The Maldonado family, is serving at our newest mission base in Culiacan, Sinaloa. This area has over 200 major ranches where huge agriculture production is done. This area is also the heart of the drug cartel as well as a major surfing spot. The potential for ministry here is huge and this young family is in need of our prayers as they pioneer this work.

Maldonado family
. We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to make videos about our ministries in Oaxaca, Sinaloa and Tijuana. If you are interested, please contact Janelle at janelle@ffhm.org.
