.  Jim Strasma, a frequent visitor at the Baja Mission and volunteer in the San Clemente office, has a severe eye infection and needs prayers for healing.

How to help your favorite non profits

Besides your actual financial giving and hopefully your onsite volunteering if that is possible, you could also use social media to tell the world about your passion and how you are using it in one of your favorite charities!

 One of our favorite Christian non profits is FFHM (Foundation For His Ministry) 
 Mission Statement
Foundation for His Ministry is a mission whose purpose is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ. To this end we share and demonstrate God’s love through the power of the Holy Spirit by meeting basic spiritual, physical and educational needs of those in Mexico and beyond. This will be done in such a way as to establish the Mission as a model of effective ministry for other parts of the world.

Over the past 20 years, we and some of our children have personally visited and volunteered in two of their mission locations in Mexico.
Our lives have been changed as a result and we have seen how God is continually working in the lives of the people in this ministry and how less fortunate people in Mexico are being changed!

As a result I am letting the Lord use my passion, abilities and experience (S.H.A.P.E) to be of help to this ministry by using my knowledge of social media (Linkedin, Twitter, Blogs) to spread the word.

.  We thank God Marlo Andaluz will be going back to Oaxaca to work with workgroups and visitors. We have been praying someone would go to fill that position so we are thankful he has heard the call and responded.

.  Today John Counts and some friends are donating and putting down new tile and carpet for our San Clemente office. Everyone is so excited for this gift and to have a "new" office on Monday.

. The Bible Institute started classes this week. We are excited to see how God uses these men and women who have taken up this challenge.

Prayer Requests:
.  As with most non-profits and churches, our donations are down after the summer and things are very tight financially. We are grateful that God has provided for all of our needs and sustained us but are praying that we will experience abundance in the coming months so we are able to do everything He has called us to.  
  

.  Please pray for our pastors. Jorge Santillan is serving at the Mission Church in Baja and Aaron Serrano is the Mission Pastor in Oaxaca. These men need wisdom and strength as they serve in these important roles.

.  George Wakeling, FFHM board advisor, will be undergoing surgery on September 8th to put a filter in his main artery to stop clots from getting to his heart. Pray all goes well with no complications and no infection.
