The Lord created each of us individually with different Spiritual Gifts, Passions, Abilities, Strengths and a unique Personality with different Experiences. This class will help people put the pieces of the puzzle together, so we each can be most effective in our families, church, community and the world.  When we serve according to our SHAPE, we leave a legacy that gives glory to the LORD so when we stand before Him one day, we will hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Just like a football game…a lot can happen in the last quarter and even in the last minute of the game!

This can be the most exciting time of our lives!

God has the script written!

Praise Reports:    .Stephanie Ricke, FFHM board member, was recognized this week by Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal as one of the top 50 women in business. We are so proud of Stephanie and so grateful to have talented people like this investing in His Ministry.  Stephanie .Today is Baja Mission Administrator Mario Cordoba's birthday. We are so grateful for this man who serves selflessly and models servant leadership.  Mario  .We are happy to report that we now have a full-time person to work with groups at the Oaxaca Mission. Marlo Andaluz has committed to staying at least a year to serve in this position. Now we just need more groups to go and work with Marlo and help with the school construction being done there. To visit Oaxaca, contact Nancy in the US office at visitors@ffhm.org.  Marlo in Oaxaca .For those in the Southern California area, Richard and Jan Larson will be speaking at the next prayer group dinner on June 5th at 6:00 at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Laguna Woods. Richard and Jan were missionaries in Panama, Spain and have visited almost every Spanish speaking country. All are welcome to come hear their testimony. For reservations, call Linda at .    The Larsons .A big thank you to everyone who prayed for Charla and Janelle during their time in Oregon. They had a blessed time connecting with friends and supporters of FFHM. They drove 2,500 miles without any incident or breakdown. They know they were sustained by your prayers.  Charla and Janelle with the Wenzel family Prayer Requests: .We continue to pray for urgently needed staff positions in Baja and Oaxaca. We would like to ask you to pray specifically this week for teachers for the Oasis elementary schools at both Missions.   Oaxaca school on a fieldtrip  . Keith and Maya Durkin, Baja Mission staff, have been in Sinaloa helping out with the outreach in the migrant camps there. Please pray for them and for Hugo and Lizette, Sinaloa staff, as they minister to the women and children.  Keith  . Gabino arrived at the Baja Mission when he was 13 years old. At the time he had never been to school and couldn't read, write or speak Spanish. He has since studied and worked hard and was able to graduate from high school. Today he is taking an exam to try to enter the university. Please continue praying for God's grace in Gabino's life and for favor with this exam.  Gabino . We are running short on funds for two major construction projects in Baja - the renovation of the students home in Tijuana and the new staff housing construction at the Mission. To allow God to be God we must follow him for who he is and what he intends, and not for what we want or what we prefer. Seeing the designing hand of God and His intervention in our lives in such a way that we know He has a specific purpose for each of us and that He will carry us through until we meet Him face-to-face and know ourselves completely. 

Once we begin to see God’s hand in our life, we will know that his workmanship within us and through us was tailor-made, just for me. His design for my life pulls together every thread of my existence into a magnificent work of art. Every thread matters and has a specific purpose. 

By his sovereign will, we have come into being with an expressed and designed purpose. 

When you finally meet the One who made you and examine the lifelines he has sent you along the way, you will at last understand how every detail made sense in the swirling reality of life’s blessings and threats.

Foundation For His Ministry: Latest prayer and praise report 5/1/2015

Praise Reports:    .Charla writes:  Praise God! On Sunday, April 26, First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood Pastor Dan Baumgartner interviewed and honored me and FFHM at the Sunday morning service. Can you believe this? I, not Chuck, sang a solo acapella as part of the interview. Since the inception of this historic church they have focused on global missions.  First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood .In Gatesville, Texas, ten inmates (known as the "Women in White") who completed the "Discipleship Unlimited" faith based program were released. These women prayed for us and sent sacrificial gifts. Pray for them as they return to society and establish their new lives.  Charla ministering in Gatesville  .Thank you for praying for the medical team that went to Sinaloa. They attended to many patients, saw the great need in that area and are already planning a return trip for the fall.  medical outreach in Sinaloa

Prayer Requests: .Eleanor Cowpersmith has faithfully and selflessly served in Mexico for 50 years. A couple of years ago, she was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer. Over the weekend, Eleanor was rushed to the hospital because she was having seizures. She has returned to the Baja Mission and is resting there. Please pray for healing.  Eleanor . We are hoping to begin using the medical clinic at the Baja Mission as a birthing center but still need a few items to make that a reality. Please join us in praying that these things are donated in the near future.  Angelina and Alma, staff at the clinic . We desperately need houseparents in both Baja and Oaxaca. Please join us in praying that God will call the right people to fill this vital role.  Pedro, a housefather in Oaxaca, with some of his boys    . Please pray for safety for our driver Sean Stephens. Every week he is driving back and forth from the Baja Mission to the US office on a dangerous road. We are grateful for the protection he has had in the years of doing this job and are praying this continues.  Sean  . Two of the Baja staff, Graciela and Rosa, went to Sinaloa for outreach activities with the children in the camps to celebrate Children's Day.
